Marketing cookies

The processing of marketing cookies is based on your consent. You can consent to the processing of these cookies on the cookies banner displayed on our website and withdraw such consent at any time in the section below entitled 'How to configure your cookies?'.

We use these cookies to:
- Adapt online ad content in line with your main interests in order to make these ads more relevant;
- Avoid repeating the same ads by recording those you have already seen;
- Identify the most relevant types of ads for our users in order to optimise their experience.

Marketing cookies are as follows:

Conversion tracking helps us to gauge our adverts' performance, while Google Signals allows us to gather anonymised data regarding visits from different devices if the Ad Personalisation feature is enabled on your Google account. This data is used to produce a more accurate anonymised report regarding the number of users visiting our site. However, this report does not allow users to be identified in any way. Please note that advertising features can be disabled at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/intro/data-and-personalization.

What happens if you reject or disable cookies?

If you refuse to give your consent to non-essential cookies (i.e., analytics and customisation cookies and marketing cookies), we will not use these cookies when you visit our website. However, some features that use functional/required cookies may be impacted. You can change the settings on your browser to ensure third-party cookies are fully disabled. How long do we keep cookies?

Temporary cookies (session cookies) are stored temporarily in your browser. They are automatically deleted as soon as you close your browser.

Permanent cookies (persistent cookies) are cookies that remain on your computer or mobile device even after you close your browser. They are used to identify you when you return to a website or application. They remain on your computer or mobile device until they expire or a new version of the cookie is installed or you delete them manually.

The expiry date of these cookies is specified above (in the section entitled 'What categories of cookies do we use and why?')

To whom might we transfer your personal data?

Your personal data can be processed by our processors for the sole purpose of complying with the instructions we give them. These processors are IT service providers such as suppliers of cookie management tools. We aim to ensure your personal data are protected in the most secure manner possible and for this purpose we have taken all contractual measures necessary with the aforementioned processors to ensure they adhere to the most stringent privacy protection standards. In all cases, the subcontractors are required to guarantee the security and confidentiality of personal data. Therefore we sign data processing agreements pursuant to Article 28 of the GDPR.

Furthermore, some third parties may collect and process personal data by means of the cookies they place on this website (third-party cookies) (see above in the section 'What categories of cookies do we use and why? '). In this case, these third parties act as separate data controllers. More information about the processing carried out by these third parties can be found in their respective cookies policies.

Your data are mainly stored on servers located in the European Economic Area.

In some circumstances, your data may be transferred to a country outside the European Economic Area. In this case, the recipients are either located in a country for which the European Commission took an adequacy decision, or are required to comply with the same data protection standards as those applicable in the European Union, by means of standard contractual clauses such as those published by the European Commission, with additional security measures where applicable.
